Contributions Audit Committee

The Contributions Audit Committee (CAC) is a Standing Committee of the SKA Science and Engineering Committee (SSEC) charged with providing advice to the SSEC on submissions by SKA partners for inclusion in the in-kind register of contributions to the SKA Program. The CAC is supported in its work by the SKA Program Development Office (SPDO) that maintains the in-kind register.

Members of the CAC have a variety of engineering, astronomical and industry expertise, a global distribution, and are appointed by the SSEC for terms of up to two years, with the opportunity for renewal. The SPDO Director and Executive Officer also participates in meetings of the CAC to provide advice and support as appropriate. 

The CAC reports to the SSEC Executive Committee on a six-nine monthly basis with motivated recommendations on in-kind contributions to be included in the register.  The CAC endeavours to match its reporting schedule to provide the most timely information at scheduled meetings of the SSEC.
