Simulation Working Group (SimWG)

The SimWG tasks are to:

- carry out simulations of the SKA configurations proposed by the candidate sites, and generate standard figures-of-merit
- obtain an objective evaluation of the different technical concepts for the SKA
- achieve an understanding of the modes in which the telescope will operate
- participate in SKA science simulations
- help develop an SKA engineering cost/performance simulator together with the International Project Engineer
