MWA antennas & the beauty of the Murchison Shire, Western Australia

The Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) is the official low-frequency precursor instrument to the SKA and is located in the radio-quiet Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) in Western Australia. It consists of 128 antenna tiles that cover an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometres and yield an impressive field of view of approximately 40°.
